This is an advance notice of a potential contract with anticipated security requirements to provide interested consultants an opportunity to begin the sponsorship request process for potentially obtaining the required security clearance(s) that are anticipated. Note that there is no guarantee that this contract will proceed or that any security clearance(s) will be granted under the sponsorship process in a timely fashion or otherwise.Description of the Project and ServicesDefence Construction Canada (DCC) will be calling for abbreviated proposals from consulting firms to establish a contract to provide commissioning services specific to Department of National Defence (DND) Garrison Petawawa requirements for new building construction. The objective will be to select one (1) firm who will be awarded a contract to support the design and construction of a new facility estimated at $500K over approximately 2.5 years. There is potential to add up to four (4) additional projects valued at an additional $4.5M.The commissioning services will include the provision of systematic verification, documentation, and training process applied to all activities during the design, construction, static verification, start-up, and functional performance testing of equipment and systems in a facility to ensure that the facility o...
