- The requirement is for safe, reliable and functional Constant Wear, Dry-type, Immersion Suit Systems (CWISS) for use by all personnel and passengers aboard Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) helicopters and all CCG personnel aboard non-CCG helicopters chartered for CCG operations. The CWISS will enhance safety in the unlikely event of a helicopter ditching scenario.
